POLICY
A policy will be in place to address the monetary requests from the Continuing Medical Education funds by Flagler Hospital entity for non-CME educational software/equipment or other educational material.
PROCEDURE
The allotted maximum amount available for grants is up to $5,000 per fiscal year. The funds are available to a Flagler Hospital entity for new educational software, equipment, or other educational items not available within another department or the purchase of a year maintenance cost of current software/equipment software. The grant application, found on the intranet (My Flagler), must be signed by a member of Flagler Hospital management and submitted to CME Committee via Manager, CPPD/CME. Application will be approved by the CME Committee on a case-by-case basis. Requests over $2000 must be approved by the General Staff.
